The Memorial (formerly the Marty Finn Memorial) is the only fundraiser the group holds each year. Grandfathers is a purely volunteer organization, with no salaries for organizers, and no fees charged to students in the program. Grandfathers has been operating for more than 20 years in the Hemet/San Jacinto area, teaching hundreds of kids from all walks of life not only golf, but life skills such as sportsmanship, etiquette, camaraderie, and honor. Grandfathers gives every child a golf bag, clubs, balls, a uniform and lessons for free.
