Statement From Outgoing President

tonyIt has been a very large privilege to serve as President of Grandfathers for Golf, Inc. for the past 10 years. When I was handed the reins I took over a small organization that had a wonderful reputation and was staffed by many special Volunteers. My hopes were to continue the tradition of helping children here in the San Jacinto Valley. With the help of so many wonderful Volunteers I think we have reached that goal. We now have programs at three different golf courses here in the Valley serving many more children then we were able to in the past.

I am not leaving “GfG,” just stepping aside. I look forward to working closely with children again (as President the administrative needs prevented me from doing so). Vice President Ernie Kercmar is the new President. I have worked closely with Ernie over the past two years in preparation for this move. Ernie shares my vision/passion of what “GfG” is and where it is going. Together with the Board of Directors and all of it’s Volunteers I’m sure “GfG” is going to continue its wonderful work for many years to come.

I want to especially thank all the Volunteers of “GfG” who over the past 10 years have given their time selflessly to make “GfG” what it is today. It has been a true pleasure working with you as we watched “GfG” grow.

Thank you all so very much,

Tony Viola
